Govt submits HC list of corrupt IAS officers

The state government on Tuesday submitted a list of corrupt IAS officers to the High Court. Interestingly, five of the IAS officers whose name figured in the list of six were retired.
The corrupt IAS officers list includes the names of Sunil Khatri, B Danam, Uma Malleshwar Rao, M V Satyanarayana, P Satyanarayana and Rama Laxman. 
The High Court took up the matter of corrupt IAS officials following a case filed by IAS officer Md. Shaffiquzzaman seeking the court's inervention to prevail upon the government to reveal the names of the corrupt IAS officers under Right to Information Act.
The government submitted the list of corrupt IAS officers on Tuesday, responding to the High Court order. Meanwhile, the High Court expressed its anguish on State government for submitting an incomplete list. It questioned the government whether there were only six corrupt IAS officials in the state. The court asked the government to submit the full list and granted two weeks time for the submission.
The High Court also ordered to take departmental action against corrupt IAS officers booked by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) during 2002-03
